Which is better: Business Analyst or Software Developer?

I’m choosing a career path and want to know which role offers better opportunities and fit.

There’s no “better” role - they serve different skills. A Business Analyst focuses on requirements, communication, and business value, while a Developer builds the actual technology. If you enjoy solving logic problems and coding, development suits you; if you prefer translating needs into solutions, BA might be ideal.

Both careers have growth and demand. Developers typically get more technical challenges and higher starting salaries, but Business Analysts excel in strategy, product shaping, and stakeholder interaction. It depends on whether you want to work more with code or with people and business processes.
